BRAKE  UPGRADES  AND  CONVERSIONS

 We supply and fit brake conversion kits for Aston Martin V8’s.  The kits consist of:

·        Two  AP RACING callipers,

·        Two  AP RACING brake discs

·        Two Alloy brake discs bells plus all brackets and brake pipes,

·        Four piston and Six piston AP RACING  brake callipers are available

BOTH KITS WILL FIT INSIDE THE STANDARD 15” WHEELS

BRAKE SYSTEMS

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

DAVRON provide a reconditioning service for:

ALTERNATORS,  DYNAMOS, STARTER MOTORS, DISTRIBUTORS, WIPERMOTORS,

DAVRON carry out complete vehicle re-wiring or modifications to fit electric cooling fans, Radio’s, Car alarms etc

COOLING  SYSTEM

DAVRON offer a radiator refurbishment service for all Aston Martin models from DB1 to AM V8.

Alloy radiators can be made to order for all ASTON MARTIN models.

DAVRON also supply replacement oil coolers or fit oil coolers for road or race applications.

DAVRON also make up all oil pipes to order.

All pipes can be made in steel, braided or rubber cased.

UNLEADED CONVERSIONS TO CYLINDER HEADS

All unleaded conversions consist of:

• New valve seats on both Inlet & Exhaust,
• New valves (both inlet & exhaust)
• New valve guides.
• All valve springs tested for correct tension & length. Replaced if outside Aston Martins specification. 
• All cam buckets refaced and/or replaced if needed.
• The cylinder head is skimmed to make sure it is completely flat then pressure tested.
• All cylinder heads are returned fully assembled with all valve clearances set as Aston Martin recommends

DAVRON offer a complete service to carry out the above Conversions. This service includes the above conversion of the cylinder head plus the removal and refitting of the head to the car. This includes the cylinder head gasket set and full set up of the carbs etc.

The advantage of the MILLERS fuel additives is that they also boost the octane rating of the fuel by up to 3 points i.e., 95 octane normal unleaded fuel goes up to 98 octane, the same as super unleaded, Super Unleaded goes up to 101 which is the same as the old 5 star.

DAVRON supply a full range of competition harnesses for all application’s whether it is full race or clubman’s.

These can be custom made to your own design.

DAVRON offer a service to re-web your existing belts so you can retain the original look

of your car, (especially important for a concours cars)

Along with the above seat belts, we also offer a full range of ratchet tie down straps.

These items are ideal for the competitor to strap his car to the trailer. They come in a wide range of lengths, with various end fittings or can be custom made to your own design.

EXHAUST MANIFOLDS

All manifolds are manufactured in tubular steel or stainless steel to the pattern of the original cast iron units.

The above manifolds are two bolt flange fitting only.

Additional flanges can be supplied for welding to your own exhaust system if required.

SUSPENSION AND SHOCK ABSORBERS

DAVRON offer a full service to rebuild all types of shock absorbers

From lever arms as fitted to DB2 and 2/4’s to the rear of DB4/5/6 DBS & DBS V8’s.

Front shock absorbers on all Aston’s from DB4 to AM V8 both Koni’s and Armstrong  telescopics can be rebuilt to as new condition. 

Prices vary according to the condition of the old unit.

We are now suppliers of the WORLD FAMOUS LEDA suspension units. These are competition quality units which are externally adjustable with 24 settings for bump and rebound.

LEDA  front suspension units are available for DB4 through to AM V8.

The units consist of one fully adjustably shock absorber with adjustable spring platforms and spring. There is an extensive range of road springs available for all applications - Road, Race or Rally .

LEDA rear shock absorbers for AM V8 again fully adjustable with 24 settings for bump and rebound.

DAVRON will carry out any suspension work you require from, normal rebuilds for road use to full competition modifications for track or rally.

DAVRON can also supply various other suspension components such as:

• Rear axle mounts for DB2-2/4’s

• Rear axle radius arm eyes

• Race quality splined hubs for DB2-2/4’s both front and rears

• Front stub axles

• Up-rated anti-roll bars for DB2-2/4’s

• High tensile steering arm bolts for DB2-2/4’s (these are recommended for competition work)

AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS

DAVRON supply new Air Conditioning pumps, condensers, receiver/dryer units etc.

We can also have your original unit reconditioned.

INTERIOR TRIM

DAVRON offer a full retrimming service - replacement carpets, leather seat repairs etc.  Please call for more details.

To complement the above, we also offer a Re-Chroming service for all bright work from Bumpers to fixing bolts & screws.

DAVRON also do Nickel plating as on DB4/5/6 carburettor & manifold components.

WHEELS

DAVRON have a wheel refurbishing service for Alloy and Wire wheels.

The alloy wheels can be returned to their original condition or can be changed to body colour or a colour of your choice. These can be lacquer finished to give that extra special effect and make them easier to clean!

DAVRON can supply Wire Wheels for all Aston Martin Models along with Knock on spinners.  The wheels are either chrome with stainless steel spokes or normal painted wheels which can be powder coated / painted to the colour of your choice.
