May 15th 2004 - Wiscombe Hill Climb

It was one of those wonderful days when the weather is sunny, the company relaxing and no incidents on the track. Area 13 had quite a few competing and won lots of points towards the Penine Trophy.

David Taylor won the Pre-War class.David Humbert entered his DB2/4 MkII in his first AMOC Wiscombe event. Bob White who has now moved to Andover entered both his DB2/4 MkII and his Lotus X1

Area 21 members
We were joined by Area 21 members.

David Butler entered his V8. Anne Reed won the fastest Lady of the Day in her V8. With the official runs over shortly after lunch, a third run was allowed. The V8 drivers put a pound in the kitty and the one to improve on their fastest run by the most got the money - Anne managed to win that one too!

Boat Race Competitors
There were 18 entrants for the all comers boat race. Rubber ducks were allowed as a new class this year.
