The challenging hill was made even more so with mud from the previous days rain making the start very slippery. As the day went on, the track dried out and the fastest time of the day was 35.83 by a Ralt RT34 Longman. It was interesting to note the fastest Westfield had a time of 42.09 only 4 seconds different from the much heavier V8. In the holding paddock at the top of the hill, the Astons looked like giants against all the single seaters, mini's etc.

The organisation of the Woolbridge Motor Club is excellent. The day started on time and despite some fairly serious mishaps during the event, the day appeared to run very smoothly. Printed results were available to take away following the prize giving and were on their website that evening.
